Your Plan Manager's Role: A Quick Recap

Think of your NDIS plan manager as your financial navigator. They handle all the paperwork and payments for your funded supports, using your NDIS plan budget. This service is available to all participants and is a separate, funded support in your plan under Improved Life Choices (Support Category 07). Once engaged, your plan manager pays your providers on your behalf directly from your NDIS funding.

Plan management applies whenever you use a registered or unregistered NDIS provider. Your plan manager checks that each invoice matches your plan, that you have enough funds, and that the support is reasonable and necessary. They then process the claim with the NDIS and pay the provider. This gives you choice and control without the administrative burden, and they also provide regular statements so you can track your spending.
