Why proof of service matters now

Most invoice knock-backs are not about the price. They happen because nobody can show, quickly and clearly, that the session actually took place as invoiced. A plan manager sees a line on an invoice. They do not see the visit.

A proof of service record closes that gap. It is a short, dated record of one session: the support, the date, the start and finish times, the units, and who confirmed it. When the participant (or their nominee) confirms the session on the day, the record carries far more weight than a timesheet written up weeks later.

Good records usually mean fewer queries, faster approvals and less back-and-forth. They do not guarantee payment. The plan manager still checks the invoice against the plan, the price limits and your service agreement.
