Financial Red Flags

Watch out for these financial warning signs:

  • Charging above NDIS price guide rates — providers cannot exceed the published limits
  • Billing for services not delivered — always check invoices against actual support received
  • Pressure to pre-pay or commit to large blocks — you should never be pressured into upfront payments
  • Vague or missing invoices — every claim should clearly describe the service, date, and duration
  • Claiming travel time without explanation — providers can claim travel but must be transparent about it

A good plan manager will catch these issues for you — it's one of the biggest advantages of plan management.
